BeED is looking for a creative and talented individual to join our team as an Academic Specialist. The Academic Specialist will work closely with our Content and Product teams to produce highly engaging & pedagogically sound learning content and impactful digital resources.

Job Responsibilities:

• Research and keep up to date with the latest trends in education, technology, and EdTech solutions.
• Create and review educational content that is rich in multimedia based on tech pedagogical guidelines.
• Exhibit proficiency in the BeED system to create materials for product training.
• Develop creative templates tailored to specific industries and serve as a knowledge resource for consultations.
• Explore industry-specific topics for content writing.
• Create pedagogical-supported, academic-focused articles for blog and broadcasting materials.
• Collaborate with the Support & Training team to assist in client training & onboarding.
• Support the Marketing team to showcase company products from an educational perspective at client’s sites, conferences, and fairs.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks or any other tasks assigned/ required by the Management from time to time.

 

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A Min of Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as an academic content writer and academic researcher, or a similar role, preferably with exposure to EdTech / digital learning platforms.
• Experience in teaching Science and/or Arts preferred.
• Prior tutoring experience, especially in Physics and/or Maths is a plus.
• Excellent writing & proofreading abilities in English.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to be resourceful & adaptable.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong growth mindset and proactive approach.
• Meticulous attention to detail along with adept management and organisational skills.
• Capacity to meet tight deadlines.
