As an Cloud Architect you will have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, extensive experience with Terraform, and a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions. Be responsible for driving our cloud strategy, designing cloud architectures, and leading cloud projects to ensure our infrastructure meets the highest standards of performance and reliability. What you will do:

• Cloud Strategy and Planning – develop a comprehensive cloud strategy, assessing cloud readiness including defining adoption frameworks and providing technical leadership for cloud initiatives. 
• Cloud Architecture and Design – design and implement scalable Azure cloud architectures, creating detailed documentation and evaluate cloud services to ensure project requirement alignment. 
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Use Terraform for IaC development and management, automate infrastructure deployment processes. 
• Cloud Migration and Implementation – Lead efficient cloud migration projects, optimising cloud-based solutions for databases, networking, and storage. 
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization 
• Security and Compliance – implement robust security measures for cloud infrastructure and data with alignment to industry compliance standards. 
• Collaboration and mentoring with cross functional teams 

Skills and experiences

• 10-15 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Azure Cloud architecture and Azure Cloud platform
• Proficiency in Terraform and other IaC tools
• Strong understanding of cloud security principals and best practices. 
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree is advantageous. 
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
