About the role

HiWork is seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the server-side logic, APIs, and data systems that power our innovative web applications. This full-time position is based in South Jakarta, offering you the opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the success of our growing company.

 

What you'll be doing

1. Assist the backend team in designing and developing API interfaces based on project requirements, optimizing data interaction performance.
2. Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure the efficiency and consistency of data interaction.

 

What we're looking for

1. Computer Science Fundamentals: Solid foundation in computer science and understanding of basic network protocols (e.g., HTTP, WebSocket).
2. Frontend Development Experience: Proficient in JavaScript fundamentals and its ecosystem, with hands-on experience using frameworks like Vue or React.
3. Backend Development Experience: Familiarity with common backend tech stacks (e.g., Python or Node.js) and practical backend development experience.
4. Basic English communication skills, which will be assessed during subsequent interviews.

 

Other Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in backend development.

Work Location: South Jakarta.
