You will lead the research and development for new or existing menu, products and processes.
Partnering with outside culinary talents or suppliers is possible to realize product development goals and identify opportunities to innovate
Must have knowledge of trends, consumer insights, and competitive restaurant/menu to make recommendations on strategy, direction and opportunities.
Will work closely with Supply Chain, Operation and Commercial Marketing in communication and coordination.
Qualification:
Master / bachelor from culinary, food production, food technology with minimum of 10 years of lead product development work in the food industry for restaurants.
Must have thorough knowledge of food products, recipe & procedural writing, costs, and manufacturing, plus an understanding of restaurant equipment and services (authentic Indonesian food)
Strong management, leadership and adaptability skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously while addressing aggressive timetables for completion
Have experiences in doing collaboration projects with external well-known chef
