Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible to utilize strong engineering tools, applicable standards and scientifically references in managing mainly but not limited environmental aspect (water, emission, energy, waste); Developing and implementing strategies to ensure the mining operations and future projects comply with all applicable environmental regulations and industry best practices, optimizing environmental performance with sustainable operation; included but not limited to engage with stakeholders, manage data, review technical documents, assist in env audit and inspection, and provide robust report.
• To develop, support, and/or review technical standard and technical studies for new project or improvement.
• To manage, conduct and/or support in environmental engineering projects such as energy conservation, water conservation, emission reduction, waste mitigation, reuse and reutilization
• To be accountable for water, waste, energy, and emission inventory across project site wide
• To conduct Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and GHG calculation using recognized scientifically and statistical tools. 
• To conduct, coordinate, and/or support water audit and energy audit, 
• To support ESG team in preparing sustainability reports and audit (SASB, OJK, IFC, ICMM, Copper Mark)
• To engage with internal and external stakeholders during aspect impact session, construction plan review, contractor performance review, incident investigation, audit, inspection, and government inspection.
• Advises line management regarding regulation, data trend and evaluation. 
• Provide required resources to manage water accounting, waste inventory, energy inventory, emission inventory.
• Develop and ensure technical standard and procedure related with water, emission, energy, and waste comply with company and International standards (ICMM, IFC, Copper Mark etc).
• Responsible to the material preparation in 4 aspect review for management, government, and corporate officials during weekly report, management review etc.
• Review contractor performance and proposed plan.
• Assist student PKL.

 What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, process or chemical engineering, sustainable energy; Master’s degree and Engineer certified in relevant discipline is preferred;
• Have minimum as Engineer – Environmental with 6 years’ experience (Bachelor Degree) and 4 years’ experience (Master degree);
• Strong understanding of environmental management in copper mining, processing, and smelter industry, power generation: Familiar with SIMPEL application; Familiar with GATRIK application; Familiar with POME application; Familiar with ISO14001 clauses, IFC standard, ICMM/Copper Mark standard; Familiar with technical/standard document of ESIA/AMDAL;
• Strong understanding and demonstrate implementation in environmental aspect in emission management (coal fired power plant, combined cycle power plant, boiler operation, genset operation and other type of emission source), water management (mine, plant, freshwater, domestic and industrial wastewater); Strong understanding and demonstrate implementation the principle of process flow, mass balance, and energy balance; Strong understanding and demonstrate implementation in preparing sustainability report and/or project report; Strong understanding and demonstrate implementation in Mining safety (KP) - Occupational Safety and Health (K3)   and Operasional Safety (KO);
• Has Certified of PPPU from BNSP (Certified of ISO14001 auditor, Certified LCA evaluator, AMDAL Basic course) and Certified of Auditor Energy 
• Possess leadership traits; Has good communication and interpersonal skills; Effective time management, ability to meet strict deadlines: Able to prioritize tasks and work independently; Ability to deal effectively with all levels of management; Has strategic and analytical thinking also problem solving required;
• Strong report-writing skills; Proficient in quality management software/tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.Strong computer skills (standard office, database drawing, project management: LCA, mapping, Project management, Power BI, analytical tools.
• Willingness to work in remote mining project locations on a regular basis.
