Mission

The role focuses on driving business growth, enhancing profitability, and improving efficiency while overseeing the company's overall operations. It involves actively implementing QHSE-related procedures to enhance quality, ensure workplace safety, and promote environmental protection.

Main Responsibilities

  • Business Function Oversight: Manage the main business functions effectively.
  • Growth Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to achieve positive EBITDA.
  • Budget Management: Create and manage budgets while optimizing expenses.
  • Operational Improvement: Evaluate and enhance productivity and financial performance.
  • Employee Engagement: Ensure employees remain motivated and productive.
  • Safety Performance: Strive for zero fatalities and maintain low LTIR (Lost Time Incident Rates) and TRIR (Total Recordable Incident Rates).
  • Quality Metrics: Keep LCIR (Loss Case Incident Rates) and NCR (Customer Findings) to a minimum.
  • Problem Solving: Address issues such as profit decline, employee conflicts, and competitive challenges.
  • Employee Assessment: Direct the employee assessment process.

Activities

  • Customer Engagement: Lead initiatives for customer acquisition, business development, and retention.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee main business functions on a daily basis.
  • Collaboration: Conduct regular updates and meetings with department heads and business managers.
  • Client Interaction: Meet with clients to build and strengthen relationships.
  • Productivity Enhancement: Encourage and organize employees to achieve high productivity levels.
  • Cultural Implementation: Implement a 5S culture to improve workplace organization and efficiency.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other assigned responsibilities as needed.
  • Policy Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and the code of ethics.

Education, Language & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the Port & Logistics industry.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Indonesian. Additional languages are a plus.

  • Proven experience as a General Manager, Senior Manager, or similar executive role.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Port & Logistics industry.
