Job Overview:
We are seeking a Graphic Designer cum Social Media Manager to join our creative team. This dual-role position requires exceptional creativity, strategic thinking, and a passion for design and content creation. The ideal candidate will excel in crafting visually compelling designs for social media platforms, websites, and marketing materials while also managing social media strategy, engagement, and campaigns. You must have a strong eye for aesthetics, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining brand consistency and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design:
- Create visually engaging social media graphics for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
- Design social media posts, stories, ads, and banners that align with the company's brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts for campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
- Stay updated with social media trends to ensure designs remain modern and relevant.
- Design digital banners for websites, newsletters, online ads, and event promotions.
- Work with developers to design user-friendly web pages, banners, icons, and visual elements.
- Design print materials such as brochures, flyers, and posters, ensuring print-ready quality and adherence to brand identity.
- Optimize designs for multiple formats (web, mobile, and print).
Social Media Manager:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement, brand visibility, and audience growth.
- Create and schedule engaging content calendars across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and conversations relevant to the brand.
- Analyze and report on social media metrics to evaluate campaign performance and ROI.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner.
- Plan and manage paid social media ad campaigns to increase reach and conversions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager, with a portfolio showcasing your best work across digital and print media.
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Canva, and social media scheduling platforms (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro) to enhance social media visuals and campaigns (bonus).
- Strong understanding of design principles (color theory, typography, layout, and branding).
- Experience designing for social media, websites, and print formats, with attention to responsive and optimized visuals.
- Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices to create high-performing campaigns.
- Analytical skills to track, interpret, and improve social media metrics.
- Excellent communication and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in motion graphics or video editing (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro) to create dynamic and engaging visuals (a strong bonus).
- Expertise in developing cohesive visual branding across digital and print platforms.
- Familiarity with social media advertising best practices, including designing creatives for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles to optimize designs for web and mobile platforms.
- Hands-on experience with print production (understanding bleeds, margins, and CMYK for brochures, flyers, etc.).
- Awareness of digital marketing trends and an understanding of SEO to create optimized designs.
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years of proven professional experience as a Graphic Designer or Social Media Manager in a corporate, agency, or freelance setting.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Demonstrated expertise in creating high-quality designs for social media platforms, websites, and marketing campaigns, with a strong portfolio to showcase diverse projects.
- Extensive experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools like Figma or Canva.
- Hands-on experience with print design and production, including brochures, posters, and business cards.
- Experience collaborating with marketing, branding, or product teams to develop and implement cohesive creative strategies.
- Familiarity with designing for responsive platforms across mobile, tablet, and desktop environments.
