Job Description :
- Provides advice on mortgage matters to the Corporation and other stakeholders.
- Resolves any issues that arise during the loan application process.
- Ensures that all loan applications are processed accurately and in a timely
manner. - Works with prospective borrowers to determine their eligibility for a loan according to their financial situation
- Provides customers with information about different types of mortgages, including fixed-rate mortgages
- Communicates regularly with clients to answer questions about their loan status or process changes that may affect their loan applications.
- Performs any other related duties and responsibilities consistent with the job title/position.
- Plans, organises and coordinates the work activities of reporting staff.
- Manages the Performance Management Systems for relevant employees.
- Provides coaching and mentoring to relevant employees of the department.
- Prepares and submits reports in accordance with the Corporation’s requirements.
- Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values,
and standards of ethics and integrity. - Identifies operational and reputational risks and develop/implement
mitigation measures to address issues identified
Qualifications & Experience :
- Bachelor’s Degree from any major
- Five (5) years in a similar position preferably from Banking
- Working knowledge of legislation, procedures and practices relevant to company operations
- Excellent planning, analytical and reasoning skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Ability to think strategically, plan ahead and make timely decisions.
- Ability to engage effectively with staff, customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to supervise and manage a team.
- Ability to work independently and with multi-disciplined and cross functional teams.
- Ability to complete numerous tasks within strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal).
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project).
- Ability to produce reports and analysis for management.
