About Us

We, PT. Sumitomo Electric Industries Consulting Jakarta are seeking a consultant experienced as IT Executive to join our company for a permanent employee. This role is critical in supporting and managing IT infrastructure services across our group companies and leading various IT projects to enhance our systems, security, and overall efficiency, support IT team in 6 factories and 2 sales companies of Sumitomo Electric group in Indonesia.  Our team works together in a flat organization to achieve our goals for the smooth operation in Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day administration and troubleshooting for servers, networks, hardware and software issues and IT infrastructure across group companies.
• Collaborate with IT teams across companies and HQ (Japan) to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain documentation, system configurations, and manuals.
• Coordinate IT projects related to server, storage, network, and security specifications.
• Oversee the installation and configuration of systems in both physical and virtual environments.
• Consult with group companies to improve IT infrastructure and security, particularly in network segmentation for office and production areas.
• Propose and plan IT investment projects, working with company management to align with security policies established by the headquarters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree (S1) in IT or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the IT field, with a focus on infrastructure and project management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience with project management (e.g., creating WBS, progress tracking, and countermeasure implementation).
• Expertise in Windows Servers or Linux operating systems.
• Proficient in Active Directory architecture and Group Policy.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise storage (SAN, NAS) and VMWare virtual environments.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Proxy, etc.).
• Experience with Firewall security and network configuration (routers, Layer 3 switches, VLANs).
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Backup Exec, Veeam).
• Experience in programming and business system design is plus
• Ability to analyze business process flows using flow charts is plus
