We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Project Management to lead and drive our project management initiatives, ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects. The ideal candidate should come from the banking or financial services industry, with extensive experience in Agile methodology and team leadership.

Job Overview: Head of Project Management will be responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale, strategic projects across the organization. This includes ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in line with the company's strategic goals. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of project management practices, particularly Agile methodologies. The candidate will manage a team of project managers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the successful delivery of key projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Manage and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
• Implement and optimize Agile methodologies and project management processes across the organization.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, and ensure appropriate mitigation plans are in place.
• Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and issues to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, Operations, Finance) to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with organizational goals.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, incorporating lessons learned and best practices.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner) is a plus.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale projects using Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and developing direct team members.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
