Amman Mineral Industri at Sumbawa Island in Indonesia has a Smelter complex where Copper concentrate, received from the Batu Hijau mines, is converted through a process of smelting and electro refining to copper cathodes of specified purity for shipment to customers. Sulphuric acid and precious metals such as gold, silver and selenium are produced as by products for sale to customers. The operations require a Raw Material Handling Plant (MHP) for receiving, storing and blending the copper concentrate and Utilities to support operations.

  • Specialist Instrument
  • Instrument Technician

 

Some of your duties will include:

  • To  undertake calibration and maintenance of  instrumentation and control equipment, assigned during the shift,  at the Amman Mineral Industri Copper Smelter complex at Sumbawa Island in Indonesia in order to contribute towards maximising uptime 
  • To implement all guidelines with respect to Standard Operating Processes, quality parameters, health, safety, environment norms during instrument repair and calibration.
  • To undertake calibration and maintenance of weigh bridges and record keeping of weighing calibration, notify the department for calibration of equipment as planned and maintain record
  • To maintain multiple type of lab equipment, coordinate yearly calibration of lab instruments and maintain traceability records.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Diploma Engineer/Trade Certificate in Electronics/E&C/Instrumentation and control or related study
  • GPA (IPK) min 3.2 of 4.0
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English; and computer literate
  • Willing to locate on site at Sumbawa Barat.
